The ultimate gaming monitor of the year, the Acer X34 or Acer Predator X34 as it is also called, will feature a 100Hz maximum refresh range with the G-SYNC feature enabled. The minimum refresh rate is 30Hz and thus the effective G-SYNC range is 30-100Hz, which is more than any other UltraWide G-SYNC monitor you will find out there. The monitor is part of the Acer Predator series and is overclocked by default. The G-SYNC feature is overclocked even more and this is what allows the monitor to reach up to 100Hz, pushing the limits of the DisplayPort 1.2 interface.
This monitor was previously named Acer XR341CKA, but that name is no longer valid, so bear that in mind when searching for this monitor elsewhere.
The Acer X34 is the ultimate 34-inch gaming monitor. It features a 3440 x 1440 resolution (WQHD+) in an UltraWide aspect ratio, resulting in a more immersive gaming experience. With G-SYNC enabled, you can enjoy any games you would like without any screen tearing or increased input lag. On top of all that, you get a curved IPS panel, which offers superior color quality, greater viewing angles and deeper blacks. The demand for IPS panels are only getting higher and higher and they are already down to 4ms GtG response time, so we will we more IPS monitors in the future.
The stand is adjustable by tilt and height and you will find four USB 3.0 ports that you can use to connect your mouse, keyboard or anything else you would like.
The Acer X34 will be released in September 2015. The retail price will be $1249.
